The river affords economical transportation to New Orleans, with truck and rail access to the Great Lakes, Baltimore and Philadelphia. From here steel can be shipped to any overseas port. Packaging We ship sheet steel eye horizontal in rugged, multi-layer packaging: poly-coated paper wrap, edge protectors, full zinc-coated metal wrapping and heavy-duty strapping. Tin mill products also receive poly bag wrap, and are shipped on a heavy-duty pallet, with eye vertical. Our packaging is environmentally friendly and recyclable, designed for easy removal at your location.
