 The following Weirkote
hot-dipped galvanized finishes are offered:
Weirkote Regular Spangle
Traditional hot-dipped galvanized steel characterized by unrestricted
growth of zinc crystals during solidification. Large bright spangles and a marked amount
of surface relief are typical.
Weirkote Minimized Spangle
Dull finish with very little spangle due to a steam-blowing
process. It provides a good surface for painting when spangle show-through is acceptable.
Weirkote Extra Smooth
Ideal for applications with critical exposed surfaces when spangle spangle show-through is
not acceptable after painting.
Weirkote Fine Spangle
The coating process has been controlled to provide a much smaller and more uniform spangle
than Regular Spangle.
