Weirton is our home. Throughout our long history Weirton Steel has dedicated resources and talent to our community. We've especially targeted our support to Weirton's youth, law enforcement and the medical community as well as working hand-in-hand with our local network of United Way agencies.

Our efforts have aided the Heart Fund, the Easter Seal Society and Muscular Dystrophy. We've supported the Boy and Girl Scouts, Sonshine Youth Services and a wide variety of programs that serve the local schools.

For many years, an officer of Weirton Steel has been the chairman of the local United Way campaign. In fact, some of the most successful community partnerships have been initiated by members of our staff. For years individual employees have independently organized fundraising events in support of the United Way in our area.
